Hey everyone. So I'm hosting a bachelor party for a bunch of early 30s guys in Austin TX in mid February. I dont know much about the city other than its weird. I've been starting the research process but would love to hear more about the city from people who visited first hand. Any must hit spots? What area should we stay in?

Do not leave Austin without killing a one footed turn down over a 30' gap.

If you guys want to go to strip clubs, go to Yellow Rose. A lot of people like to go 6th Street to drink and listen to music. It is too cold now to see the bats at Congress Bridge or visit Barton Springs.

If you like BBQ, try to go to Franklin BBQ (personally I think Aaron is a hoot). Make sure you get there early because they sold out most of the time.

Any area will be fine but the traffic can be very bad.
