Hi guys, this is for anyone who lives in Austin or know of the city and culture pretty well. A few buddies and I are going to Austin for the weekend of April 20th, just to hang out mainly and also celebrate 420, was just curious if anyone know of any 420 events that generally go on in Austin. I know this sort of stuff is generally not publicized for obvious reasons, so I'm curious if Austin celebrates 420 as well as other cities like Denver or Boulder.

4/20 is hitler's birthday. Why would you possibly celebrate that? Are you anti-semetic? NAZI!

Your curious if a city in Texas celebrates a stoner holiday like two cities with the highest concentration of dispensaries/per capita in the entire nation?

I know Austin is considered "fairly progressive", but thats when its compared to the rest of Texas.

Short answer is: NO

Long answer: Weed is practically legal here, and is for anyone who wants to pay for a medical marijuana card. Its more prolific along 16th street mall than anywhere in California I've been, which says enough in itself

The putt putt sounds awesome. I will definitely keep an eye out on the Reggae fest. Willie's too rich for my blood, tickets starts at like the 180s :(

Mainly, I'm looking for smoke-outs. I'm just curious if it's a tradition in Austin to have 420 smoke-outs, and if so, where? Because I don't want to miss it :)

Pease Park might be a place to check out, I dunno. Frisbee golf if nothing else. If you stay for a week, you can catch Eeyore's birthday there.

LOL, you don't know shit about Austin then, weed doesn't have to be "legal" to be all over, and believe me, in Austin, it's alllllll over.

Yip, Pease Park would be one place to be.

I know Austin is a liberal city, but somehow I doubt nazis celebrating Hitlers birthday are going to be well received.

You're supposed to celebrate Austin 3:16, not Austin 420. :colbert:
