Maybe you go to a non-representative sample of festivals.
Pot festivals and ecstacy festivals are different IMO.
Or maybe Australians just do it wrong.

Festivals are festivals here. All genres have festivals and people need something to keep them up and going all day and not, not something that turns them into a dumbed down idiot. It's also easier to pop a pill then toke up in public places, espcially since most festivals have cops and sniffer dogs everywhere.
