Hi there, I have an Alienware Aurora R3: Intel I7 2600K, 8 GB RAM, 875 Watt Power Supply with one 6 Plus 2 and one 6 pin GPU connectors. Is it possible to upgrade the gpu to a Vega 56? Can I use the 6+2 for one power plug and use a 6 pin to 8 pin adapter on the other? If not can anybody recommend a good GPU upgrade for my pc? Thanks in advance!

R3 has one of those weird BIOS/UEFI implementations that cause a lot of issues with modern Hybrid vBIOS. If you want a trouble-free experience, I'd probably stick to a 980 Ti or similar. Polaris cards have trouble booting on those systems, as do RTX 2xxx. I read reports of GTX 1xxx cards booting, but several will throw an error regarding PCI and Vendor IDs not matching during boot.
