Aureal vortex2 or MontegoII ?

Aren't they both Vortex 2's? Doesn't matter really since you'll want to use reference drivers.
 
Sorry... Don't know what a Montegoll is, but if the other is a Vortex2 Super Quad w/digital out, sounds like a heck of a deal.

If so, is that a special deal just for you or can I get a few for $18 too??
 
it is my understanding that the Turtle Beach Montego II uses the Aureal Vortex II chipset. So unless the vortex 2 card you are referring to is the latest that supports 4 speaker sound or digital output, they are probably about equal. Which sort of makes sense, given the price.😉 On the other hand, at least Turtle Beach is still around, so maybe the Montego II will be supported for at least a little while longer, so may that may be the better way to go. I hope so because I just got my new Montego II a couple of days ago and am installing it right now!😎

That answers my question, Thanks.i probably will go with the montego II.i didn't know the Montego was still in buisiness. i knew about aureal.
