Aureal Vortex Sq1500 vs. Soundblaster Live Value

I have both and I am going to give on to my friend the Aureal has digital out while the SB is probably 2 years old without the digital?? Any opinions.

Aureal cards under win2k are hit and miss at BEST, so I'd stick with the SB Live (or a Santa Cruz/GTXP if you want TOTL) if you plan on running it

Ok thanks, I will just keep my SB because its in and it has always been good to me. I don't even know what I would do with the digital out anyway

keep the aureal card, even without fully supported win2k drivers and etc. etc...

simply because it has digital out that you'll never use.

i owned a sb live value and it was a decent card...try it.
