Auotomobile megaphone/loudspeaker

Anyone have experience with putting a megaphone/loud speaker outside of an automobile. I want to be able to speak into a microphone and have it be projected outside of my car (like what the police have). Can anyone give me any advice or a link? Thanks in advance.

Radio shack has something like that. .

Back in the seventy's you could do it with a cb radio. Just use the P.A. button.

i think it's illegal in some states. Pretty sure it is in California at least.

My friend has one, but the sound comes from the speakers inside his car and he speaks through a mic like a CB radio. Thats a negatory good buddy!

Yea, I'll look at getting a CB, but I think Radio Shack might have something that will work. I just wanted to know if there was anything specific that I could get before I went out on my journey. Onwards to Ratshack. 🙂
