We plugged everything in and got her all hooked up, no problemo. It posts, finds the hard drive and CD-ROM, then goes to a blank screen with the cursor flashing in the upper left hand corner.

I've tried booting from the floppy, HD, and CD-ROM - no go. I've removed all expansion cards save for the video - no go.

K6-2 350
64MB EDO RAM (4 x 16MB SIMM)
3.2GB Western Digital Hard Drive
Goldstar 24X CD-ROM
Diamond Stealth SE PCI

Yes, I know the components are a bit out-dated but it's for a web-surfing machine for a coworker's mother.

The motherboard and hard drive are new (drive's been sitting on a shelf for a while). The RAM, CD-ROM, CPU, and video card are all used and worked fine.

I've had this happen to me all the time with the same board but removing all the unneccesary PCI and ISA cards for the first boot up solves my problem all the time. If I were you I'd check that all the jumpers and voltage are set correctly since the board does feature alot of stupid jumpers. Wish you luck.:)

Weird . . . I went in and changed a bunch of BIOS settings, and she booted right up . . . starting Windows setup right now . . .

Congrats but the board is really unstable. I can't wait for some Athlon DDR lovin so I can get rid of this trash.
