:confused:Hey everyone...

OK, got a question, and I've googled and haven't had any luck. Currently running a Windows 2000 active directory. Most of the servers are W2K and W2K3, but we still have some NT 4.0 servers in a separate domain. Our parent company does scans every month using Pentasafe, and they require certain parameters be set for auditing purposes. Well, on this latest scan, most of the NT domain controllers have failed because we do not have Directory Services auditing enabled on these machines. Can anyone tell me how to do this? It's simple enough on 2000+ servers since it's just a group policy, but I can't for the life of me find out how to do this in NT. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

AFAIK, it does not exist on NT domain controllers. They have no concept of a directory, even when they are members of an AD.

Yeah, that was my thinking as well. I guess I'm going to have to get an answer from the person at corp. that runs these scans.
