audiophiles: which earbuds sound best?

Out of those, I would go for the 71's.

The most expensive Shures or Etymonics that you can afford would be your best bet probably (unless you were serious about having no limit).

hahahahahahaha. apple earbuds??? if you REALLY want the best in-ear check out UE or sensephonics. if you want the "affordable" in-ears check out etymotics ER-4* (P or S usually) or maybe Shure... i've got ER-6i's which are excellent. apple earbuds suck.

im sorry for not being specific, i meant the price is not a factor between the two that i listed. the apple in ear costs about 37 while the sony is about 47. i asking to see whcih one sounds better. of course i would take the shure e2's or 3's but those things cost 100 whcih is beyond my budget.
