Before I install it on my computer, is there a way to get rid of the spyware?

*Yes, I did a search, and it only addressed Kazaa Spyware removal*

Use ad-aware from Lavasoft. 9 times out of 10, If it's got adware/spyware, ad-aware will get it.

Try AGStreme - search for it on Google - it uses the Audiogalaxy network but has no spyware and has lots more features....

also try the site www.a-g-g.com - searches Audiogalaxy for full albums and queues the entire album up for you - it rocks!
