I am interested in buying these speakers but I need to know if the built in DAC will bypass my Titanium HD sound card.

Or will it only do that if plugged in via USB?

I don't want to waste my sound card's DAC which I think is better......

Never mind...I ordered the Audioengine A 5 and A8 SUBWOOFER COMBINATION.
