To tell the stupid thing which mp3s are audiobooks vs music, so when I do my all music it doesn't include audiobooks and their infinite chapters as music?

Thanks.

Can you do play lists? Make a music list and an audio book list.

haha...good luck with that. right now, I have a 1gb zen nano and I will get a 1gb ipod nano free from keybank in a month or two. I will sell the ipod nano and keep the zen nano.

the main reason is I am afraid of something like what you are having.

with my zen nano, I plug in the usb to my laptop and then I transfer the folder of an audiobook. everything is in sequence; it plays the way I want it to play.

Go into iTunes, select all your audiobooks, and change "Skip When Shuffling" to Yes.

Yeah, but you have to convert them to AAC. Then rename all of their extension to m4b (thats the extension apple uses for Audible content, don't worry though, it won't make your iPod think the files are DRM'd). Then go back to iTunes and delete the old entries that won't be able to find the files. Now add the new .m4b files, and select them all. Right click and go to get info. Go to the options tab and select 'remember playback position'.

That WILL work, though its a little bit of work.

That was ripped from a Nas track (note I didn't say song, as rap ain't music).

Awesome newParadigm, thanks dude. Didn't know that re: the quote, but I just like the fact that it was spoken about Isleaze Thomas.
