Audio won't stop when i exit Dscaler?

I have a ATI TV Wonder VE card, running Dscaler..no complaints...works well, nice image,
however when i exit Dscaler..the TV audio keeps going, even though Dscaler image is gone..

what should i do to get the audio to stop? i don't just want to mute the audio.
