I apologize for previously posting this under General Hardware.

Since the manuals that come with the package don't help much, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with my problem. I can get the video just fine, however, I can not figure out how to capture the audio from my camcorder. I plug the video (yellow) cable obviously into the video port on the Y-cord. I don't know where to plug in the audio (white) cable. In case you can't tell the open port in the middle is audio in (blue) and the other port on the Y-cord is something with pins. Can somebody please help me? There are pics, at the link below, to help you understand better what I am talking about.

Well the other female jack is for the S-video output of whatever source you want to capture. I believe you need an adapter for the audio for your left audio ouput, it adapts to something that looks like a headphone jack. Hope that helps somewhat.

I would think the white goes to the line-in input of your soundcard.

No, the white does not fit in the line-in port of my sound card. I believe I need an adapter.
