Audio Setup woes

Hey guys, I am having an issue with my audio setup. I have a Tapco Mix120 and I followed the computer setup diagram. So I am running from the main out to a USB device to eliminate latency, then from my line out to the tape in on the mixer, then from the Control Room out and into my stereo which I'm using for my monitors. While I receive sound during my mobo's test tones, none of my programs emit sound. Update: My USB headset does not emit program sounds either. Any suggestions??
