Audio setup help for PC + Console

Hello,

I am looking to connect my PS3 and my PC on the same monitor at my desk. I have no idea what to do with the audio. I would ideally want to be able to get the full digital sound out of both systems onto 1 set of speakers. (i.e. I do not want to mixer together the headphone jacks outputs lol). I have an Audigy 2 ZS soundcard, but I am willing to upgrade it if necessary. I do not have a set of speakers yet, so I can go with either PC speakers or real speakers. A main requirement in this is to minimize clutter around my desk as much as possible.

Any thoughts? I'm sure this is a relatively common situation.

I recommend buying yourself a nice receiver and some speakers. You can then plug both into the receiver and have them output on the same speakers, plus you'll have room for future electronics to plug into the receiver. I had my PC, Xbox360, DVD player, and TV plugged into my receiver, all using the same speakers.
