this forum is a great forum but it is missing one key part AUDIO!! it has no audio representation whatsoever, i mena were cna i talk about the latest soudn cards or the newest speakers ot come out

sound ahs really come into computers in the last year or so and i really think ya'll need to geta section devoted entirely to sound. I mena you have one for everythign else why not sound
 
Peripherals, General Hardware, Software (for software aspect), and even Tech Support when you have technical problems.
 
i know you have all those different categories but sometimes difficult to get question answered, also if there was one main audio section you would get the audiophiles and people that know alot about speakers and sound crads posting in one spot.

i mean what you are saying is basically liek saying you can get all your vid card questions answered in those forums you mentioned above, so consequently we dont need a vid card section, i mean, in some peoples eyes sound is just as improtant as video
 
I think so too, Peripherals is kind of dead, and a lot of discussion goes on in OT about headphones, HT speakers, computer speakers, mp3's, etc. etc.

I think instead of creating a new forum, we should just use Peripherals for sound stuff (the Mods - or admins, whoever does it - aren't likely to create any more new forums, anyway). It's kind of sad that those of us who choose not to visit OT because of the general level of stupidity of most of its participants have to miss out on some nice discussions just because someone didn't post in the right category. :frown:

Agreed 100% I'm quite sure that there aren't as many interesting discussions going on out there in OT anyway, though 🙂
