Audio Screw up

I need some help, my audi is completely gone. I installed a Hauppauge WinTv USB2. It is an external tv-tuner. It comes with an audio line-in cable, but also allows for audio to go in to the comp thru the usb conection. I installed the drivers for that and then my mic stopped working. So i uninstalled the Program drivers and uninstalled my audio drivers and reinstalled everything. My sound was back to normal. Now i reinstall the program and now i have no sound in anything at all! I uninstalled the program drivers and reinstalled my audio drivers; still no sound. I am using a dfi lanparty mobo and its onboard audio; no sound card. does anyone know what to do
