I use Audacity currently. Is there any software that automatically splits the album recorded from the vinyl or cassette into individual MP3 files (signal coming from the line in of the video card)?

thanks

How well does it work for live recordings where there aren't silent gaps?

 I thought EZ was by Adaptech

My bad. I was thinking of Sony's EZ Audio Transfer & Restoration software which is by Magix.

I haven't tried using it for live recordings, just cassette transfer.
