I'm looking for a recommendation for software that can be used to record meetings. I want to install it on a laptop that has a sound card and mic, and let it record for maybe 4 hours or more. Win95/98 preferred, NT if necessary.
My concerns are ease of use (no need to wade through a dozen techie menus) and if at all possible, the software will pause if there's no sound to record.
As you might imagine, I'm trying to eliminate the need for a digital handheld tape recorder that automatically pauses when there's no sound. It's just extra work to pull the file off the recorder and get it into a PC. The end users will be pretty non-technical.
Any recommendations welcome! Thanks in advance.
