Hey Everyone,
I did alot of research for xmas and decided I wanted to ask for a Sound Blaster, Audigy 2 ZS sound card, it seemed it had the best combination of high quality sound, and I was considering getting the pro or gamer edition to get the front panel insert.
My mom ended up buying the audigy 2 "value".
It isnt that much different but, it doesnt have the pc to pc gaming with firewire, it also doesnt have thx certification or thx setup console, or the DTS-ES 6.1 playback...
I dont realy know that much about sound, I just have lots of music, and I just got a Panasonic Stereo receiver (which i would also LOVE to hear feedback on what you think of that) SA-HE75.
I plan to just hook up some speakers, and maybe a sub and just rock out some music from either a stereo, or my computer, or an ipod or whatnot...
Basically, should I just stick with teh value or go for the ZS model??? and what about that receiver, is it good enough for what I want to do with it or no???
***you can find the comparison charts for the soundblaster cards here: http://www.soundblaster.com/products/pr...=1&subcategory=204&product=10653&nav=3
Thanks,
Dustin
