Audio player software

I'm getting tired of winamp acting slow and crappy on me. Maybe an older version of winamp would work better? I'm using 5.32

Anyway, can I get some recommendations for alternatives?

Tried Foobar2000 and it's so default looking...plus there seems to be no "play all random" function, which i need.

So yeah, bearing that in mind, and that I need playlist functionality and the ability to play mp3, wav, wma and mp4, what other options are out there?

The new WMP11 does all that and works for me.

It's possible to get foobar looking pretty slick if you're willing to put in a bit of effort.

For random play in foobar, set the "Order" combo box to "Shuffle (tracks)".

i'll try that, i think i did shuffle albums or something

thanks corky and xcript, i'll check those out. MP11 when I get XP...i bought 2005 media center edition and received it last week but the disk was bad - cyclic redundancy error at the same point in the install

anything else? Can't believe there's only three recommendable players out there.
