I recently upgraded to the IWILL VX133 Motherboard with Pentium 3 866 and 256 memory. Using Windows 98 second edition.
Now when I play back an MP3 or Wav file, it has a blip (skips) from time to time (and when I play back the same spot later on the same MP3 it is OK) so problem is in playback and not on file.
I was told by a tech to download cacheman which I did and no improvement. Not sure if cacheman is set properly for this problem. (5.0)
Before upgrade everything played fine. (Was AMD k/500
