audio only coming out my right speaker

On my Win2k computer with a SB Live! Value card my audio is only playing on my right satellite (I tried 2 pairs of speakers). I checked the Hardware settings in the Sounds and Audio in the Control Panel and it showed 2 speakers, I tried Windows Media Player (in addition to Winamp), and I tried various file formats. I also updated the SB Live! driver.

Any ideas on how I could fix this would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Sometimes one of my speakers just shuts down, all I have to do is adjust the volume or jiggle the speaker plug to get it working again. Im not sure if this will solve your problem but I just thought I should post this anyway. BTW I have cambridge sound works speakers.

Agh sorry, I'm a tard... thanks.. I should've searched first, it was the balance.

Edit: I went to Control Panel -> Sounds and Multimedia and changed the balance and when I went out it kept going back. Turns out Winamp was the culprit and I couldn't tell cause I was using a crazy winamp skin 🙂
