Is this the moron they keep advertising on the Discovery channel?

Fixed! 😀

And yes... that guy.

Haha, you hit the nail on the head! I was kind of amazed that this guy was able to play around with a bunch of Grizzly bears and walk away in one piece. I didn't know he was killed by one until I read this thread, it was going to happen sooner or later.

-Jason

My money is on this guy being next.

Not even the same thing. Steve Irwin is a nut for sure but most of his encounters are in a semi- if not fully controlled environment and he's surrounded by other experts ready to save his aussie butt if something were to go wrong. What's more, he's not some idealistic hippy attempting to commune with nature and he actually understands the dangers and pitfalls of his actions.

What the G-Man did was the equivilant of walking through a ghetto with hundred dollar bills hanging out of your pockets trusting that nothing will happen to you because deep down in your heart you know that "people are basically good".

..who wants to volunteer to be the star of GrizzlyMan II??:Q

I heard a story on NPR about it and they were interviewing someone who put together the film and they talked about how upsetting it was to hear that audio. I think they said they are not putting it out anywhere in respect for the guy. I might be mistaken.

..he was told numerous times to leave Yogi alone but he wouldn't listen. At one point he started acting like a bear..making grunting noises and all. Said he wanted to be one with the bear..I think the bears got tired of his arse and couldn't take it anymore.
