Audio lagg from MSI KT3 Ultra onboard audio...

anyone else notice the lagg in sound when playing games. I've only played some racing sims but its terrible. I'm using the newest drivers(via 4-1 and AC'97). Anyone else notice this or know of a fix???
 
no one can help u... u must suffer in your own purgatory for your SIN of using onboard audio... onboard audio is... THE DEVIL!!!! :Q
 
I negated to buy a new soundcard(old one was ISA) when I upgraded to my current setup so I could get the most possible with the cash I had on hand. So at least there must be a way to make the suffering bearable till next payday! It actually doesn't lag in all games. So far only in NFS5 PU and Rally2k. OMG SO ANNOYING
 
I just installed the board and I'm trying the onboard sound instead of my Montego Bay sound card.
I think it sounds good so far (music anyway)

the embedded sound by VIA southbridge sucks.
when I'm playing a mp3 file and scrolling in IE at the same time, the sound will lag.
it's only good for basic system "ding" sound for office work.
