I'm trying to use my microphone for the OfficeXP speech recognition, but my computer isn't picking up any sound from my microphone. Instead, it picks up sounds from the computer. For example, if I run "sound recorder" from the start menu, and press record, it will not record anything I say to the microphone, but it will record the mp3 i'm playing perfectly. How do i get this thing to record the input from the microphone? thanks. my setup is in my sig.
