Audio: good sound cleaning app?

Hey all.. anyone know of a good app that will clean up sound? ie, take out distortion etc... Thanks.
 
you might want to try "cooledit". you can find it by searching for it on google.

i'm pretty sure it does what you're looking for. i've been using it for years
 
CoolEdit Pro is supposed to be about the best suite for everthing at four-track and under. Cubase might have something more intricate and subtle for editing with more tracks. CoolEdit 2000 is slick, but I believe the clean-up functions must be purchased as a plug-in. Bumma!
