Audio from Computer to Home Speakers?

Has anyone used this type of device?

Link!

Any other good ways to get audio from the internet/computer (live broadcasts, mp3s, etc.) to your home speaker setup?

Depends, how far away is your computer from your audio stuff? I would use long RCA cables before that thing. You can get a cheap pair of 20-30 ft cables for 15-25 dollars. Longer than that, the wireless option looks nicer. I would try to find a better deal though. 70 dollars is pretty expensive for a cheap 900mhz transmitter/receiver.

Looking at your link, I see that it is cheap enough to take a chance. Go for it and let us know how it works. I have three systems, each with external stereo amps and speakers with sub-woofers. The Stereo amps are from Radio Shack and each system will outperform any store-bought computer system. My laptop is different . .. I run it directly into one of those small Bose Wave radios. It is awesome as well.

I could use one of those wireless gadgets to pipe stuff into my my main Bose Lifestyle 25 system in the front part of the house. Try and and report!

I wonder about the Matrix one. Unless it converts the audio signal to digital (which I doubt), wouldn't there will be a problem with the 60 cps from the line voltage running through the house? Unless it blocks and chops off the low bass on the receiving end. Dunno, just wondering.
