Audio disc compilation without pauses?

Is there any way to burn an audio disc from separate files (MP3, PCM, whatever, all formats can be converted) without the 2-second pause between tracks? Maybe a utility that creates one big disc image file? Something?
It doesn't really matter how involved the process is, only on rare occasions would I need such a CD.

most CD writing software allows you to do this, you just have to know where to look for the right menu and options.

Generally it will be an option to do Disk At Once.

In Nero, you can highlight all the songs you are about to burn except the first one, then right click to OPTIONS and change the pause to 0. It wont allow you to do this for the first track because it has to have a 2 second gap before it.

Last time I tried to remove the pauses in Nero, it wouldn't let me...
It (much newer version now) seems to be allowing it now. Alright then.
