Audio device on HD audio left in device manager...

Hi,

i'm installing win xp sp2 on my new build. The board is a gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L.

After installing win xp, i've downloaded the lastest drivers from the gigabyte site.

I've installed the realtek driver (including MS UAA drivers) and now, the sound is working fine but i got an audio device on high definition audio with an exclamation mark in the device manager.

Windows doesn't find any drivers for that. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers but no luck. That device refuses to install.

In its properties it says (Internal High Definition Audio Bus).

what am i missing ?

thanks for your help.

Finally found the problem.

That device was coming from my ATI HD2400 Pro. Why these drivers doesn't come with the display drivers that i've dowloaded from ATI ?

How the hell coud i've know that there was an audio device on my card. There's only a VGA and DVI port.

Anyway, on the realtek site, i've downloaded the AMD/ATI HDMI Audio Driver and voilà !
