I have a fairly large WMA selection on my PC, that I have ripped from my personal CD collection. I just bought a mp3 player for my car, but it doesn't accept WMA's :( To top it off they don't work with my girlfriend's iPod.

I searched around for MP3 conversion tools, but the results were enormous. Which conversion tool is best? Which ones do you guys / gals use?

i used dbpoweramp. its great for converting to all sorts of formats, but the mp3 conversion is limited to 30 days

otherwise you have to register, but its cheap, iirc allows upgrades for life or some such, and is worth it. i registered a copy a couple of years ago i used it so much.

I downloaded dbpoweramp, but it won't allow me to select the WMA files to convert to MP3. Does anybody know of any freeware that does this?

Do you still have your original CDs? You're FAR better off re-ripping them as MP3s than you are converting from 1 lossy format (WMA) to another lossy format (MP3). It may be more work, but the resulting sound quality of the MP3s will be much better.
