Usually when I watch DVD I just watch the movie and put it back on the shelf. Sometimes I check out the Bonus Materials for deleted scenes and interviews with the actors out of boredom.
However, I just got done watching The Princess Diaries (don't say anything
) and was looking around on the disc menu and found an Audio Commentary section. Turns out Garry Marshall, the director, watches the whole movie "with you" and comments on every single part of the movie. It's just like watching the movie in a totally different way with the director's point of view.
Once I got done watching the movie a second time with his commentary I'm roaming around in the menu and find MORE commentary by Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews (the main actresses) :Q The movie was good but I'm not going to watch it a third time...I'll save it for a rainy day or something.
Anyway, just thought that was a cool part of the dvd. How many of you watch the bonus scenes along with the audio commentary? Chalk up another reason to buy DVDs rather then renting them. Going to take me forever to watch this whole dvd.
