Audio Capture Card

Okay, so I know there are GuitarPorts, and I'm sure my bass would work fine on one, but I'm just curious, is there anything a bit more industrial (read: PCI instead of USB) that I could record with? I'm sure there is some kind of audio workstation card or something that I could buy to record with, anyone know of any cheaper ones?

I'd recommend the M-Audio OmniStudio.

If you search eBay for 'omni studio' you'll get a few hits for the $150 range...very good price for this level of equipment.
