anyone here have the audigy2 platinum and figure out how to get the remote to work in a dvd program or win media player or even itunes?
 
Enable your remote control if it's not, from the start menu/programs/creative/media source/enable remote.
Now press on the start button on remote, and Run Creative Media Source. Here go (with the mouse) 😉 to Tools/Settings/Remote Control/Windows Application support and add the programs you want to use. Be understanding that Creative didn't know what programs people are going to use so some might not work just as you would like.
 
thanks, now can i assign keys to the remote like tab and space bar? it seems like the remote just works for the arrow keys and enter
 
Not that I'm aware of. You should check their website, or pdf manual, maybe they say something about that.
