I have an SB audigy along with a kick ass 5.1 pro media system...the pro media system rules and i would recommend it to anyone who loves music and sound in games. anyway..onto the question...

Since i am recently going to buy a new comp, would i see a big diff in the audigy and the audigy 2?
 
iSales pricing trends make it look like Creative is lowering inventory in anticipation of a product revision. As such, I would recommend waiting.

As for the A2 over the A1. IMHO the sound is better, but with a rev on the way, I wouldn't dump the cash for a few months.
 
rev like pci-e and stuff like that...makes me WANT to wait..but i prob cant. Revs to the audio...eh i dont think anything they can do can really blow me a way.....or make me want to hold off on buildng a new computer..but then again, i can just use this one untill something better comes along.
 
I just went from having a TBSC to an Audigy 2 ZS and I havent noticed squat for differences in sound between the two cards. I dunno.....

maybe its just me but.................

What speakers/headphones you got?

Sound quality may be more noticeable on higher quality speakers.

EDIT: What about games? There must've been a difference there
