Audigy X-Gamer with Asus A7V-E

I have an Asus A7V-E board (Via KT133) with an Athlon 1.2GHz. I am running Windows XP. I need a new sound card and was looking at a Sb Audigy X-Gamer or MP3.

I have heard that the SB Live's have had trouble when used with a Via chipset. How do the Audigy's work with a Via chipset in Win XP?

I am running 1.6XP with Windows XP and Audigy Gamer. It's great, just get the latest drivers for XP. FYI the new audigy card is much better than the old sound blaster live. Enjoy I should mention that I am using the A7V 266E board, but my friend has the exact same setup as you do and is running the Audigy gamer also. He had to get one after he heard mine. Using Klipsch 5.1s its awsome.
