Audigy woes!!

I bought a Audigy (SB0090) sound card off Ebay.I think its a product made in Asia(singapore ?) .It works but with some problems !! ....
1)Not all the software could be installed(errors kept cropping up during installation)
2) The sound icon does not appear in the systray
3) whenever i startup it gives a message ..sound card not properly installed please re-install ..which i've done...

As i said the card works fine but there are certain features i can't access (like surround mixer)
I'm in Canada using Win XP and on a PC bought in Canada.

Any suggestions ...
Should i download the latest drivers from the creative site ......should i download it from the Asian site or the North American site..

Thanks in advance

Did you disable onboard sound in BIOS also disable gameport(if you don`t use it) & midi port address in BIOS(for motherboard onboard sound) is also worth doing.

Download these latest driver/software updates .
Btw I would try the Audigy in another PC to rule out it being faulty as well.

Downloaded the drivers and now its perfect !!!!!
THanks!!
Incidentally i don't think it matters which site the drivers are downloaded from (asian,uk,north american ) as long as the language is the same ie English
