Does anyone have an opinion of the SB Audigy's with the front mount ports and the remote. I am thinking of getting on for my dorm room to use as a stero or shoud I just go with an old fashioned, but proven, receiver?
 
It's a fine device but other then the remote most of the devices can be hooked up from the rear and depending on what PC Speks you are using vs the receiver/combo would detirime which set-up would be better. The receiver would offer you FM and I would imagine be more cost effective.
