Audigy, No audio from the card, Motherboard is a A7V133

I'm not getting any audio. Anybody be down this path beforo me? Is there any driver up dates for via for this new card?
 
... and 686B strikes again. somehow, I'm not surprised.

Find the latest 4-in-1 "patch" which is recommended for KT133A, not sure which it is. There've been so many damn releases and patches I'm dizzy.

You might also try adjusting PCI latency, either through the BIOS or with WPCREDIT. It's a tedious process I don't recommend unless you really have no other choice.

You could also try different PCI slots.
 
I presume you have disabled onboard sound in Bios,anyway with the SB Audigy open up Audio HQ double click on the speakers icon & make sure the volume is not muted in the left corner & try the test button.
 
just running thru the basics, when you first installed the card & windows detected it on booting up, did you cancel the windows search for drivers then autorun the setup from the audigy cd to install the drivers & software??
