Audigy Digital Out?

One of my biggest problems with the Live! series is that its digital out does not work under Win2k. So I was wondering if any of the early adopters have tested this or not.

Ideally, I would like to send a digital out to my Midiland speakers (with the decoder box) for everything. Right now, I have to rely on my ATI AIW Radeon digital out for DVD and analogue from my Live! for everything else.

So does the digital out on the Audigy card (specify soundcard or drive) work to send AC-3 and normal sound out under Win2K?

It works with PowerDVD 3 (didn't test other software) but was quite buggy. The dsound.dll hack still works fine, so I just went back to using hack for my DVD playback.
