Audigy + Altec's ADA310W

I'm currently building a new pc and I've narrowed down to these 2 items for my sound system. I chose the ADA310w due to price and space constraints. Do you guys think this is a good combo or should I opt for something else at the same price? How can I make the most out of these 2 items?

FYI, I will be playing DVD's and some hardcore gaming on my new rig with the Audigy card and ADA310W.
