Audigy 24 bit benefits?

I've been planning to pick up a set of Klipsch Promedia 5.1's for a while now. I read on these forums though that the Audigy's 24 bit, 96 Khz output is available only through it's digital output. Since the Promedia's only hook up to the analog outputs on the Audigy, would I be missing out much on sound quality without the 24 bit, 96 khz support? Should I wait for the reviews of the Cambridge 5.1 Megaworks 510 speakers which do have a digital input that supports 24 bit, 96 khz sound? I'm far from being an audio buff so if my understanding of all this is wrong, please correct me.
