I just recently decided to pick up an Audigy 2 ZS and hooked it all up to my Logitech Z680 speakers. As i did a speaker test, all the channels said they worked correctly, yet my bass sounded very very quiet. Before when i was running onboard audio, I couldnt come close to max sub volume or it would annoy my roommates, but now i have to put it to at least half way before i really get a good sound out of it.
Any idea on what it could be? Even when i try to turn the sub volume down in one of the speaker settings, it doesnt even turn down. They seem to be connected properly, with all tests working properly, but just a very low bass. Can anyone help?
