Audigy 2 ZS and Front Audio Ports

I have been searching around the net and these forums as well, the topic of hooking your case's front audio ports to the Audigy 2 ZS has been a back and forth issue. Some say it can't be done others claim they have done it.

Looking for someone that has completed this succesfully and any pin outs or connectors need to accomplish this are appreciated.

According to some the live drive (creative's front ports) outputs a digital signal, and then you have the people who say they have done it. But most of it sounds like guessing

All data sent from the card to the drive is digital. There is a DAC and ADC on the Creative Drive to prevent having to send analog audio through the inside of your case. I don't know about connecting it to your front panel, but the drive output is definitely all digital.
