Audigy 2 ZS + AIW 9700Pro = Lots of Static from speakers

If i plug the the cable from the AIW 9700Pro into the Audigy's Line In port, there would be hissing cracking and static, chainsaw sound from my speakers and other various creepy sound similar to that of the whooollling in DOOM III. I hope hell's gates are not opening thru my vid card.

Anywaz..if i unplug the line-in..everything is solace and peaceful. However I then loose the sound when i watch TV..so is there a way to solve the static problem?
