Audigy 2 woes

Ever since upgrading my SoundBlaster Live 5.1 to an Audigy 2, I've had some issues using TeamSpeak (a voice chat program). My microphone sounds very soft to others in the room at first, then after 5-10 minutes it "warms up" and everyone can hear me normally. It never did that with my older card.

Anyone know of any issues with the card that would explain this? I'm using a boom mic, not a headset.
