Audigy 2 problem (weird/erratic)

Sometimes when I start windows my Audigy 2 ZS isn't recognised properly, the device manager looks like this: http://img52.imageshack.us/my.php?image=audigyproblem5hv.jpg

If I try to "install" the drivers, it will sit on the "searching for driver" dialogue.

Rebooting cures the problem, device manager looks like this when the Audigy is working normally: http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/5595/normaldevice0yu.th.jpg


Any ideas why this could be happening?

Try changing the slot that the card is plugged into.

Try completely removing all audio drivers, reboot, then install the Audigy 2 ZS drivers.

Good advice. Also, does this PC have integrated sound? If so, is it disabled in BIOS?
