Audigy 2 Platinum AD_EXT cable

There's this flat cable, very similar looking to the flat IDE cables that connects the Audigy 2 to the Platinum. This cable is named the AD_EXT in the manual. My question is whether there are any round cables to replace that? I searched online and Creative says that conventional IDE cables are not compatible with the replacement of the AD_EXT cable.
 
I had hoped you had found something as id like this too. But with some creative (bleh - pun) folding or rolling you may be able to get by. I routed mine behind the HD mounts and its fairly well hidden and doesnt block airflow.
 
I ran my AD_EXT from the sound card, flat on the side of the case, partially under the mobo. You could round off the cable yourself by separating the ribbon into a few 5 or 6 wire strips, then sleeving it.
